Dr Henry has taught in a number of areas including semiconductor physics, foundations of circuits, power and machines and renewable energy.
In 2007, Dr Henry was honored to receive a 2006 UWA Excellence in Teaching Award for ELEC2304: Physical Electronics and ENGT1001: Intro to EE Engineering.
In 2007, Dr Henry was thrilled to be nominated for an Excellence in Teaching Award for ELEC1302, but, due to the Faculty rules, she was unable to put forward a submission.

Dr J. Henry has been the SB councillor since 2000. The SB has a committee which organises a number of events each year including a Networking Forum. If you would like to know more about the Student Branch please look at the website. This website was placed THIRD in the International IEEE Student Branch Webpage Competition. The SB was also awarded "Australia's Outstanding Student Branch" in 2007.
