Join the IEEE in 2008 and WIN!
Sign up for IEEE 2008 Student Membership and you could win an iPod nano 4Gb with video, worth around $199! This competition is open only to new IEEE Student Members from the University of Western Australia, so you’ve got a very good chance of winning!

Join before the end of September 2008 to qualify for the draw. The competition winner will be selected during before the end of Semester Two.

Student Prices
The cost of full-year membership for students is USD$25. This equates to approximately AUD$50 for full year membership.

For new memberships, if you join between March 1 and August 15, membership is half price, at USD$12.50 (approximately AUD$17). We strongly encourage all new members to consider this option.

Note that you do not have to become a member of the IEEE to attend our events. Normally members do however get special rates, as well as priority when attending limited number events, such as site visits.

How to Join
Students who wish to pay in cash are free to fill out paper applications which can be found at our events or by contacting the committee. Otherwise, students interested in joining the IEEE using credit card should join online. Don't forget to select 'Student Membership' for the reduced student membership rates.

BBQ Membership Drive
Paper applications to the IEEE can be found at our events, including our regular BBQs. If you sign up on the day, you are entitled to free BBQ and drinks!

Existing IEEE members are also entitled to free BBQ and drinks at all of our membership drive BBQs.
