Aik Ming TOH

I am enrolled as a Ph.D candidate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at The University of Western Australia. In 2004, I graduated in Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UWA. My current involvement is with Signal and Information Processing group of Centre for Intelligent Information Processing Systems, CIIPS. My Ph.D project is entitled Feature Extraction for Speech Recognition in Hostile Environments. My supervisors are Dr. Roberto Togneri (CIIPS) and Professor Sven Nordholm (WATRI). My research interests involve signal processing, speech recognition, acoustic signals, spoken language research, music synthesis and telecommunications.
