Overview

The mission of the Energy Systems Centre in the School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at The University of Western Australia is to contribute to the progressive development and advancement of the power systems of electricity supply and to the accumulated knowledge and understanding of a field of very wide ramifications.

Achievements

The Centre is recognised internationally for its research work in the field of power systems. The work has been published in Australia, the United Kingdom, The United States and France. The work as a whole makes an extensive and primarily original contribution to the field of large-scale electric energy systems. These are the largest of all man-made systems. They are central to every modern economy. Much of the work has been widely referenced in the international literature. It is well known and very widely acknowledged.
