The demo day was well represented by students with over 30 students making their way around the Donga and through to the demos and displays in each of the rooms. The day was very pleasant and with the newly installed air-conditioning unit, quite comfortable given the crowds in the rooms.

Demonstrations of the vision system, SCADA micro-controller, voice-activated lighting and the initial investigations on gesture recognition, were all well attended with much discussion on the sides amongst students excited by what had been achieved and perhaps thinking about what they can do next year ...
