Research Funding Success
Australian Research Council for funding under the Discovery Projects Scheme
The Hon Julie Bishop MP, Minister for Education, Science and Training, has announced the selection outcomes for proposals submitted to the Australian Research Council for funding under the Discovery Projects Scheme commencing in 2008. UWA submitted 166 applications, 35 of which were successful - a success rate of 21% with a total of $13,089,935. The national success rate was also 21%.

Australian Research Council for Linkage Projects Round 1
The Hon. Julie Bishop MP, Minister for Education, Science and Training, has announced the selection outcomes for Proposals submitted to the Australian Research Council for Linkage Projects Round 1 for funding commencing in January 2008. UWA received a total of $3,673,575 from the ARC and $5,695,059 from Partner Organisations for this round. UWA's success rate is 57.1% with the national success rate being 47.6%.
