- The IDEAL House Demo Day showcased the achievements of students involved with 3rd year and final-year projects in the inaugural year of the EECE IDEAL House. Students considering projects in 2008 on the IDEAL House were especially encouraged to attend.

- EECE Office Friday
- The School of Electrical, Electronic & Computer Engineering 'Office Friday' for 1st years was held on the 27th July and attracted a large number of students to hear industry speakers talk about the strong demand for Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineers.

- The NOMAD UWA Sustainable Housing Experimental Test Facility was opened in a ceremony held at UWA on the 27th July 2007

- Arrival of the Nomad UWA Sustainable Accommodation Test Facility
- On Tuesday the 5th of June the School of EECE took delivery of the Nomad UWA Sustainable Accommodation Test Facility as part of the Schools IDEAL House project. The two-room donga has been donated to UWA by NOMAD to establish a prototype IDEAL House. It is located in car park 14 (along Fairway entrance 4 access road).
