Porous silicon research at The University of Western Australia (Perth) is focused on the development of transmissive thin film optical filters. Specific areas of research include the development of a novel double-sided fabrication technique, surface passivation methods, pulsed anodisation for uniformity improvement and the creation of an in-situ realtime monitoring system.
