ABSTRACT:
Pure output queued switches are known to provide the highest throughput possible in data networks. However, today’s line rates, switch sizes and memory speeds make their employment difficult. Combined Input Output Queued Switches (CIOQ) have emerged as one possible solution to overcome these problems.
